Miranda holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from UC Riverside, a Professional Sequence in Editing Certificate from UC Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology and English (with a Spanish Minor and Creative Writing Concentration) from Middlebury College. She also writes fiction, poetry, and book reviews — and enjoys the familiar clicking of mahjong tiles.
